ZAMORA COMPANY REAFFIRMS ITS COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABILITY BY RENEWING ITS MEMBERSHIP IN THE UN GLOBAL COMPACT FOR THE FOURTH YEAR

The renewal represents a new step in the consolidation of its sustainability strategy, integrated into its Conscious Company model and aligned with the implementation of its new Sustainability Master Plan 2026-2028. In 2025, it allocated more than 659,000 euros to social and community initiatives and promoted 62 training actions for its employees.

Zamora Company, owner company of Licor 43, Ramón Bilbao, or Martin Miller's Gin, among other premium wine and spirits brands, has renewed for the fourth consecutive year its membership in the United Nations Global Compact, thereby reaffirming its commitment to the Ten Universal Principles on human rights, labor standards, environment, and the fight against corruption. Through its membership in the Spanish Network of the United Nations Global Compact, of which more than 1,800 Spanish companies are part, Zamora Company maintains its commitment to the 2030 Agenda and actively contributes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), incorporating responsible criteria into decision-making and the development of its business activity.

This renewal represents a new step in the consolidation of the company's sustainability strategy, known as the Conscious Company Model. A strategic approach that now takes another step forward with the implementation of the Sustainability Master Plan 2026-2028. This plan acts as the company's central measurement guide to respond to sector trends and the most demanding ESG standards, unifying and ensuring that all its brands act under a common framework of the same global commitments to positive impact.

"Being part of the Global Compact for four consecutive years reflects our conviction that business growth and sustainability must advance hand in hand. This commitment helps us continue building a more responsible, transparent company prepared to face the challenges of the future," notes Javier Pijoan, CEO of Zamora Company. This commitment translates into concrete initiatives that range from promoting the well-being, training, and professional development of its employees to advancing gender equality, work-life balance, and support for social projects aimed at combating poverty and food insecurity. Over the past year, the company has promoted a training plan that included 62 training actions directed at its teams. In addition, it made an investment of 659,000 euros earmarked for social and community initiatives, as well as programs that foster the workplace inclusion of persons with disabilities.

In parallel, Zamora Company continues to advance along its environmental roadmap through measures aimed at reducing its environmental footprint, optimizing resources, achieving zero waste, and decreasing CO2 emissions, thereby reinforcing its contribution to a more sustainable and responsible growth model. Over the past year, the company has managed to supply 82% of its operations with energy from renewable sources and valorize 95% of the waste generated by its activity. Furthermore, it has reduced the intensity of its CO2 emissions by 42% compared to 2020, thus consolidating its commitment to decarbonization, energy efficiency, and responsible resource management.

A business vision that places people, the planet, and long-term value creation for society at the center through three transversal pillars: good governance, transparency, and conscious leadership. With a workforce of more than 580 employees and a presence in over 80 countries, the company continues to place sustainability at the center of its business model.
