The seventh edition of this contest was held in London last October

Madrid, November 12th 2018.- MAR DE FRADES 2017 has obtained the Gold Medal in the latest edition of the ALBARIÑOS AL MUNDO 2018 contest held recently in London. The contest, organized by the Spanish Union of Tasters (U.E.C.) tries to recognize and reward the best wines made with this variety, both inside and outside of Spain.

It is a pioneering initiative, an itinerant Iberian project whose objective is to show in the main international wine markets the excellence of the elaborations where this varietal is the protagonist, and that has already celebrated its previous editions in markets such as Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Holland or Ireland.

Mar de Frades Albariño 2017 obtained the Gold Medal at this contest, which places it among the elite of Spanish white wines, reissuing the same award that it reached 2 years ago in the edition held in the Netherlands.
