Wineries for Climate Protection is the first and only certification of sustainability specifically created for the wine sector, supported by the FEV (Spanish Wine Federation) and it´s the result of a joint work with renowned certification companies.

The objective is to obtain a methodology that respects the international parameters in terms of sustainable processes and practices, applied to the reality of the sector in Spain, something that it is increasingly demanded by a large number of retailers.

The certification acts on the four fundamental axes of sustainability: reduction of greenhouse gases, energy efficiency, water management and waste reduction, setting minimum compliance and demanding action plans in the short, medium and long term.
