ZAMORA COMPANY WILL BE THE EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR IN SPAIN AND ANDORRA FOR BOTTEGA SPA

Zamora Company Iberia—owner of Licor 43, Ramón Bilbao, and Martin Miller’s Gin, among other premium wine and spirit brands—has entered into a strategic alliance with the iconic Italian winery Bottega SPA. Through this agreement, Zamora Company becomes the exclusive distributor in Spain and Andorra for the Italian firm's most emblematic ranges: Bottega Gold and Bottega 0.

This addition reflects the company’s commitment to excellence and its proactive approach to consumer trends. In a market where the sparkling wine category and alcohol-free options are experiencing a significant surge, Zamora Company is strengthening its portfolio with products that stand out for both their high enological quality and their sophisticated, distinctive visual presentation. Furthermore, the Cartagena-based company solidifies its role as a key strategic partner for international brands, reinforcing its leadership in building a diverse, premium portfolio aligned with the expectations of an increasingly demanding consumer.

The agreement focuses on two flagship lines: Bottega Gold, world-renowned for its metallic finish packaging—which serves a functional purpose by protecting the wine from light to preserve its aroma and freshness—and Bottega 0, an innovative alcohol-free proposal that maintains the full freshness and character of the grape.

A Family Alliance with Shared Values

Beyond the commercial scope, this agreement unites two companies with deep-rooted family traditions. Founded in 1977 and currently led by its third generation, Bottega SPA shares fundamental values with Zamora Company, such as a dedication to quality and a firm commitment to sustainability. Carlos Gallego, Director of the Iberia Cluster at Zamora Company, highlighted the significance of the deal: “We are very pleased with this agreement as it allows us to complete our sparkling wine offering with a world-renowned brand, while becoming a key partner in the brand’s development strategy within the Spanish market.” Sandro Bottega, President of the Italian winery, emphasized the importance of the Spanish market: “We are delighted to consolidate our presence in Spain alongside a partner with the experience and reach of Zamora Company. Spain has a rich wine culture and a vital tourism sector; our goal is to delight the most discerning palates with the elegance of our Prosecco and the innovation of our 0 Alcohol range.”

With this move, Zamora Company consolidates one of the most comprehensive and prestigious portfolios in the industry. The firm adds the Italian glamour of Bottega to an ecosystem of leading brands, including internal icons like Licor 43, Ramón Bilbao, Martin Miller's Gin, and Villa Massa, alongside top-tier distributed international labels such as Tequila Don Ramon, Champagne Pommery, and Ron Abuelo.
