Zoco pays tribute to the origins and nearly 600 years of pacharán's history.

1441 marks the first known written reference to pacharán, recorded by the monks of the Monastery of Santa María de Nieva (Segovia). In their chronicles, they described Queen Blanche of Navarre drinking a red sloe berry–based liqueur to ease stomach ailments. This makes 1441 the origin of a tradition that continues to thrive today.

WHAT IS IT?

With 1441, we return to the origins of pacharán-making, recreating its original character with a smoother anise profile, less sweetness and a higher proportion of sloe berries.
